The 1884 Morgan Dollar (Buy on eBay) struck at the Philadelphia Mint is another one of the more available issues of the series. The mintage was rather high at 14,070,000 pieces struck for circulation. Some of this number was released during the year of mintage, while some quantities in bags remained in storage until the coins were eventually released in the 1950’s.
